Sharon Cheney is a prolific artist who likes to work in varied media. She paints in oils, pastels, inks and water colors and she sculpts in clay, stone and wax. Sharon Cheney was born and educated in Montreal, Quebec and currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She started oil painting in her teens and continued to explore other media as time went on. When she sculpted, she felt as if she had done this before in some other life because it came to her so easily.

Many of her paintings reflect her love of nature while many  of her sculputres reflect her belief in Jungian archtypes. Her energy paintings are both energizing and healing and were given to her in a vision. Being highly sensitive and intuitive, she wishes to express this aspect in her work. 

From an early age, she always wanted to be an artist and express her creativity as well as help people, which she does through her psychic readings and counseling, teaching and healing therapies. For more about her helping skills, please go to www.sharoncheney.com    

In addition to her art education, Sharon Cheney holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Science, and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. She has studied holistic therapies amd metapsychics in both Canada and the United States and is a trained Hypnotherapist.
